The Precision System
As the drive for offsite production technologies increases, timber frame manufacturers are looking for effective methods for producing factory insulated panels. With an increasing focus on improving energy efficiency and reducing embodied energy, architects and other specifiers are looking for more effective building solutions. In 2009, with the help of the EU ECO Innovation programme, a number of industry players set out to address both of these issues by developing a new concept in timber frame manufacturing through a project called InsulaTFH.
The outcome of the InsulaTFH project is the Precision® System, a unique innovation in low energy timber frame.
